Salted Chocolate Espresso Shortbread - Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Salted Chocolate Espresso Shortbread cookies is definitely one of our bolder flavors so it makes sense to pair it with some more unique and bold wines.
Susan Balbo, an Argentinian Malbec with notes of blueberry and blackberry on the nose and flavors of licorice, cola, ripe plum, and bits of vanilla. A great wine to balance the chocolate and espresso within the cookie.
A Full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from California with notes of oak, chocolate, vanilla and cedar with a bold finish to pair with such a bold cookie.
Lemon Poppy Seed - Chardonnay or Pinot Noir
Joseph Drouhin LaForet Bourgogne Chardonnay
A smooth French Bourgogne with notes of crisp apples tropical fruits on the nose, with a crisp and dry finish on the palette. A great savory Chardonnay to pair with our light and buttery shortbread cookies. As both have a bit of citrus flavor, this is a go-to pairing for the next sunny day!
Jovino, a winery based in Willamette Valley, Oregon produces this earthy, full bodied Pinot Noir with notes of raspberry, cherry, and strawberry. This Pinot Noir brings sour fruits that pair perfectly with the lemon in our lemon poppy seeds cookies
Confetti Bites - Rosé or Sauvignon Blanc
A pairing that surely will be the talk of the party! This crisp Rose, contains hints of strawberry, watermelon, hints of peach and raspberries. With a dry finish this wine goes hand in hand with our buttery sugar cookies!
A delicious Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with citrus on the nose and a strong dry finish, this wine works perfectly with our confetti sugar cookies to create a citrusy and sweet combination. It’s like the perfect lemonade substitute for adults!
Cheese Pennies - Syrah or Riesling
Based in Walla Walla Valley, Washington, Boom Boom! Has created a bold aromatic Syrah with notes dark chocolate, plum, with vanilla and a long dry finish. This wine pairs perfectly with our savory cheese pennies! Works great with a savory wine that balances out the zingy cheese of our pennies.
A crisp wine for cheese crisp! To again counterbalance that zing in our cheese pennies we chose a crisper wine with notes on the nose of apricot, tangerine, peach and honey. This light bodied wine contains flavors of tangerine, apricot and honeycrisp apple to enjoy with our light cheese pennies on a hot summer’s day!
