I gifted myself with a box of these cookies at Christmastime after buying my first box at the WNC Farmers Market in Asheville NC (that I shared with a friend visiting from out-of-town). The Christmas box remains unopened because it's so special and I don't want to share or squander these cookies! Perfect balance of spice and sweet, with a perfect, tender texture. These are a VERY SPECIAL treat with coffee or tea.
